iNHouse PR : Case Study

Stockholm Network: Media Director

Stockholm Network, the highly respected umbrella body for 110 market-orientated think tanks across Europe took on iNHouse Communications to fill an important role. They needed a media relations specialist they could regularly call on but also someone that the rest of their network would recognise.

After discussion with iNHouse Communications, they decided to appoint Katie Perrior as their Media Director. This enabled her to be easily identified as part of the network, but meant in reality she was only called upon when needed for media advice. This not only reduced overheads for the organisation but creates a dedicated focus on media relations when needed and most importantly ensured message consistency across the whole of the network. The team developing the messaging with the network, was also able to ensure it was maintained and adapted as required.

Commenting on the appointment at the time, Stockholm Network Founder Helen Disney said: “We really wanted media relations input at a senior level and this was the perfect solution all round. We have expertise on call whenever we need it and have held planning and media training sessions - all of which have been really valuable for my team. And that team now includes iNHouse Communications, as their approach means you don’t feel like you’re employing an agency at all - just friendly, creative people who adapt to your style of working.”
